A valuation at the auction house of Goudwisselkantoor is free of charge and without obligation. You have no obligation to sell or auction. Do not hesitate to make an appointment for a valuation of your objects.
How can I follow the auction?
The online auction platform allows you to bid on the auction objects on offer via the internet. We are happy to explain here how bidding on the platform works.
What factors determine the auction value of my items?
Our appraisers will estimate the current auction value and advise you on next steps to take. This could be contribution to the auction, direct sale or, on the contrary, advice to keep it in your possession for a while.
Which items can I have valued by you?
The Goudwisselkantoor auction house appraises: gold and silver (in all forms), jewellery, diamonds and precious stones, watches, coins, medals and banknotes. In short: we have in-house knowledge and experience of very many objects.
What is a pre-bid?
Prior to our auctions, we always organise a pre-bid. This allows you to bid on your favourite items before the auction starts. It is also possible to place an automatic bid. These bids automatically participate in the auction. Ideal if the auction coincides with an important appointment. During the pre-bid, you can place a bid at your convenience. Up to the amount you set, you are guaranteed to be the highest bidder.
