We kijken terug op een periode vol bijzondere kavels, succesvolle veilingen en enthousiaste bieders. Van schitterende juwelen met prachtige Ceylon-saffieren tot exclusieve horloges met een rijke geschiedenis en luxe accessoires vervaardigd uit bijzondere houtsoorten – de afgelopen maanden stonden in het teken van unieke objecten en mooie resultaten. Maar liefst 4060 kavels gingen onder de hamer, met als absolute uitschieter een Rolex Day-Date 40 ‘Ice Blue’ in platina, die €36.000 opbracht.
Achter die resultaten schuilen ook mooie verhalen. Bieders aan de andere kant van de wereld bleven ’s nachts op om live mee te bieden, en op één kavel liep de teller op tot 79 biedingen. Ook de geschiedenis kwam volop aan bod: van een 1500 jaar oude Byzantijnse tremissis tot een 65 centimeter hoge zilveren samovar, ooit vervaardigd voor het Belgische en Nederlandse hof.
Nu gaat de hamer heel even omlaag en genieten we van een korte summer break. ☀️ Vanaf 10 augustus openen we de prebid voor de Numismatic Fall Auction en kun je weer jouw biedingen plaatsen.

We look back on a period full of exceptional lots, successful auctions, and enthusiastic bidders. From stunning jewellery featuring beautiful Ceylon sapphires to exclusive watches with a rich history and luxury accessories crafted from extraordinary wood types – the past few months have been all about unique objects and great results. No fewer than 4060 lots went under the hammer, with the absolute highlight being a Rolex Day-Date 40 ‘Ice Blue’ in platinum, which sold for €36,000.
Behind these results lie some wonderful stories too. Bidders from the other side of the world stayed up through the night to bid live, and one lot saw the count climb to 79 bids. History also played a starring role: from a 1500-year-old Byzantine tremissis to a 65-centimetre-tall silver samovar, once crafted for the Belgian and Dutch royal courts.
